Educators

Whether you’re a teacher, a principal, or a school board consultant, we are here to help!

If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed trying to teach reading and writing, you’re not alone.

My name is Lindsay Cochrane, and I taught in French Immersion schools for over ten years.  I’ve been in your shoes, trying to teach kids to read without the knowledge and resources to do so effectively. The kids were struggling–and so was I!

That’s why I created the “I Can Read In French” phonics program.

It’s an easy to use, affordable system of slides, handouts, and teacher manuals to make teaching French easy and fun!

Support for your French classroom

We’ve created ready-to-use resources that save time and increase student success. Whether you’re teaching early readers or older students building their language skills, our programs are designed to fit seamlessly into your classroom.

Kindergarten to Grade  2

Our comprehensive Phonics Program teaches students to actually read—not guess. Don’t forget to add Pratique phonémique and the Sound Wall/Sound Chart to help your students consolidate their learning.

Grades 3 to 8

Do your students make the same reading mistakes over and over? Do you understand the need for phonics instruction but aren’t sure where to begin?

We are so excited to announce the release of Succès syntaxique, a program to support students in their oral and written communication through explicit instruction in grammar, syntax and vocabulary. We’ll give you slides for your daily lessons, workbooks, and activities to help you deliver the program.

Workshops

The best resources in the world will not effect change unless teachers understand how to use them!

We offer a variety of workshops to help support your teachers wherever they’re at in their structured literacy practice.

Too many students are falling behind.

In 2022, the Ontario Human Rights Commission released its Right to Read Inquiry Report. The results were jarring: an alarming number of students are graduating high school lacking the reading ability necessary to be successful in their adult lives. Since then, other provinces have conducted similar investigations revealing similar results.

But there is hope!

Most students can learn to read and write fluently when taught using the right methods. Our resources use evidence-based methods to effectively teach students.
