Succès syntaxique explicitly teaches various sentence structures, grammatical elements and vocabulary. It is a structured literacy program aimed at Grade 4-6 French as an Additional Language classrooms. SSA (Succès syntaxique Niveau A) is best suited to students in Grade 4, and can even be introduced to Grade 3 students who have successfully completed a structured, systematic phonics program.
The program is comprised of 4 short lessons per week, each taking about 20 minutes.
